Binchoise XO is a unique beer that never stops seducing connoisseurs of always or newly conquered by this real testimony of the passion and know-how of our Master-Brewer, Bruno De Ghorain. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, at cheese time (it goes marvellously with blue cheeses) as well as at dessert time when it will sublimate your soft chocolate cake.

Barley Wine Scott

Tasting

Appearance :

Slightly amber with a cloudy or shiny appearance depending on the tasting temperature. The bubble is fine and the foam not very abundant and creamy.

Nose :

In the first approach, we note a woody touch and aromas of ripe fruit recalling pear and raisins. Signs of the beginning of modelling during ageing in barrels.

Taste :

Roundness and power from the first sip. Slight woody note or smoke. No acidity but rather a sweetness specific to some whisky. Alcohol is present and contributes to the sensation of warmth during tasting. Perfect match between beer and whisky. A beer all in balance.
