OF THE FRIENDS

LA BINCHOISE
ITS
OBJECTIVES
1998. They are thirteen to want to constitute a center of friendly meetings,
for the only approval of its members.
At once appears the idea to defend and promote the products of the soil,
those of the brewery La Binchoise in priority, and to take care of the
safeguard of the local gastronomical traditions, in particular the "doubles
of Binche".
Thus is born officially the Brotherhood of the Friends of La Binchoise.
ITS ORGANIZATION
The Brotherhood joins together her Council, monthly. The Fellow-members
hold together the decision-making power.
The Council chooses, in its centre, the Masters, in charge of the ordinary
management of association. The Brotherhood joins together her Chapter,
annually, in November. With this occasion, personalities which expressed,
with various levels, a particular interest for the objectives and/or
the activities of the Brotherhood, can be promoted to the row of Companions.
The Brotherhood extends itself to a group of Friends. In against part
of an annual contribution, they receive information relating to it,
and the periodic bulletin "Double Mousse".
ITS CURRENCY is expressed quite naturally in Picardy
patois :
"Rwétons. Sintons. Goûtons... Nos n' bwârons
pus jamés si djônes!"
